How accurate is the AI-generated BPMN?

BPMN Studio uses a structured conversation to gather process details before generating, and the generation prompt includes explicit BPMN validity rules. The output is valid BPMN 2.0 XML in the vast majority of cases. Complex processes with many exception paths may benefit from one or two refinement rounds.

What AI model does BPMN Studio use?

All plans use GPT-4o mini for the conversational wizard. For diagram generation, free users get GPT-4o, while Pro and Max subscribers get GPT-4.1, which produces more accurate and complete diagrams for complex processes.

Process descriptions and diagrams are stored in a Supabase PostgreSQL database with Row-Level Security — each user can only access their own data. The server uses OpenAI's API; conversations are not used to train OpenAI models under the API usage policy.
