Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 July 2026. These terms govern your use of BPMN Studio at bpmnstudio.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the service.
1. Who you are contracting with
BPMN Studio is operated by Emilis Mikalajūnas, an independent developer. Contact: mikalajunas.emilis@gmail.com.
The project is not affiliated with the Object Management Group, Camunda, or the similarly named tools bpmn.studio (ELMA), bpmnstudio.online, or bmate.app.
2. The service
BPMN Studio turns a plain-language description of a business process into a BPMN 2.0 diagram using large language models, and lets you edit and export the result. It is provided as-is and evolves continuously; features may be added, changed or removed.
3. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old. Guest use without an account is permitted within the free generation limit.
4. Plans, billing and cancellation
- Free — 5 lifetime generations, no card required.
- Pro — €11.99 per month.
- Max — €19.99 per month.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are in EUR; applicable taxes are shown at checkout. We may change prices with notice, effective from your next billing period.
Cancel any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; you keep access until then. We do not pro-rate partial months.
Refunds. If the service does not work as described, email us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it. EU consumers additionally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services, which you waive to the extent you ask us to begin the service immediately and consume generations within that window.
Non-payment. If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until it is resolved.
5. Your content
You own what you put in and what comes out. Process descriptions you write, and the diagrams generated from them, are yours. We claim no ownership over them.
You grant us the limited licence needed to run the service: to store your content, transmit it to our AI provider to generate a response, and display it back to you. That licence ends when you delete the content.
We do not use your content to train models, and our AI provider does not either — see the Privacy Policy for the detail.
6. AI output — read this one
Diagrams are generated by a statistical model. They are frequently correct and occasionally wrong.
- Verify before you rely on it. BPMN Studio output is a starting point, not a validated artefact. Do not deploy a generated diagram to a workflow engine, submit it as a compliance record, or make a business decision from it without a human reviewing it.
- We make no warranty that generated BPMN is valid, complete, standards-conformant, or fit for any particular purpose.
- Identical descriptions may produce different diagrams. That is inherent to the technology, not a defect.
7. Acceptable use
Do not:
- Submit personal data about others, confidential information you are not entitled to share, or unlawful content
- Attempt to access another user's account or data, probe or attack the infrastructure, or circumvent rate limits and plan quotas
- Resell, sublicence or white-label the service, or use it to build a competing product
- Automate access outside of normal interactive use, or scrape the service at scale
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, with a refund of any unused prepaid period unless the breach was deliberate.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service running but offer no uptime guarantee. It may be unavailable for maintenance, provider outages, or reasons outside our control. Generation depends on a third-party AI provider; if that provider is down, generation is down.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for consumers' statutory rights under mandatory local law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms, or discontinue the service entirely with reasonable notice — in which case you can export your diagrams and receive a refund of any unused prepaid period.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new Last updated date and, where required, notified by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, and disputes fall to the courts of Lithuania. If you are a consumer in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your own country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings there.
